I’ve been thinking and wondering why I don’t write more with my posts. I think I’ve come to the conclusion that I don’t get ‘wordy’ on my posts because I’m just private. I want to be like everybody elsst and write cool posts with meaning and insight. I guess I’ll just have to work up to that.
The reason I started the blog up again was I needed something for me to focus on. A commitment to AEDM would mean that I had a purpose, a goal. It would (and does) keep me focused on doing something good. Its not much but its a place to share what I work on and hopefully get feedback.
I was looking through my art journal this morning and took a bunch of pictures to share. The pictures are dark but this is something I’ve done that I like.
(What kills me is how dark my photos are turning out!!)
I’ve discovered water soluble graphite!
I’ve been in an Art Tizzy. I guess its just Monday and I’ve got non-art-related stuff to do today. So I’ve been running around like a chicken with its head cut off.
I was doodling last night with black paper and white gel pen and came up with this while I was watching TV.
I was trying to watch Killing Kennedy on the National Geographic Network and I fell asleep at like 8:30! I was going to try to do more. So my intentions were good, but my eyelids would not cooperate!
Better late than never.
Its becoming a thing with me, I want to make sure I get something done for AEDM every day. But I spent most of the day with my husband and that was awesome.
I have no idea what I’ll post tomorrow. Two tangles (I guess?) for today:
Here to the start of a great week:
No flowers today, just some houses. One new, three old. Today I hope to spend some more time creating stuff… painting, drawing, crocheting…. etc. Its been a long week . Today has the potential to be a great art day.
What are your plans today?
This was completed this morning:
These were completed during the last few years:
Good Morning, World!
As I’ve mentioned, I’m loving Art Every Day Month. I enjoy looking at all the cool art and blogs that artists share. Today I have more flowers and a card.
My dad’s 80th birthday was yesterday. Here’s a picture of his birthday card.
A tree from my kitchen…. I have a few other things that I’m working on but they aren’t ready today and I thought that since it was Throwback Thursday, I would post these pictures.
This was completed during this past summer.
There is so much I want to do and don’t have time. But I’m going to keep plugging away and posting what I create. Especially for this month. I am loving Art Every Day Month.
